VIVO’s sub-brand, which has a significant role in the company’s dual-brand strategy, today, released a new mid-range smartphone in the face of the iQOO Z6.

Note: This is not the phone released earlier this year.

One of the selling points of this device is the 6.64-inch LCD micro-hole screen. It has a screen ratio of up to 91%, supports 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, and also has 4096-level brightness adjustment and global DC dimming. Thus, though we are dealing with a mid-ranger, its screen achieved the flagship level.

Inside, our protagonist hosts the Snapdragon 778G Plus chip. In its turn, the processor is accompanied by the full blood version 6400Mbps LPDDR 5 memory and full blood version V6 UFS 3.1 (128 layers) native storage. At the same time, the handset supports memory fusion 2.0 technology, which can further expand background capabilities. Simply put, when necessary, it will borrow memory from the storage not to allow any app to run out of memory.

In order to ensure a stable and long-lasting gaming experience, the new phone also comes with a six-layer ice-sealed liquid cooling system. The latter can drop the core temperature by 13°C. Apart from this, the iQOO Z6 comes with a few other amazing features that make gaming more pleasant. For instance, it has an X-axis linear motor, 4D game vibration, etc.

The second selling point of the phone is the 4500mAh battery, which supports dual-cell 80W flash charging. Due to it, the battery will be fully charged in 30 minutes only.

Photography is where the phone fails. Though the primary camera has a 64MP resolution, the rest two sensors have 2MP resolutions (4cm macro lens + depth of field lens). However, the module supports OIS.

As for the price, the iQOO Z6 offers three storage combinations:

Back in 2010, he was dismissed from his position as a lecturer at the university. This made him get another job at his friend’s digital marketing company as a blog writer. After a few years, when he was thinking the article writing is his mission, Google pushed the Panda update and affected the company and websites he was working at. (Un)fortunately and surprisingly, he got an offer to head a large knitting factory. In 2016, he got his Ph.D. and resumed teaching at the University … and writing tech-related articles following his passion.
