Capcom has detailed Monster Hunter Rise update 10.0.2, which packs PC-specific changes in addition to support for the Sunbreak expansion, and more.
The new update will be deployed later today for the Nintendo Switch, while those on PC will have to wait until tomorrow. On Switch, players are required to download 10GB of data, where PC players will be presented with a 22GB download. The new update contains content that requires the purchase of the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion in order to access, as well as content that only requires players to install this new update.
Aside from support for the new Sunbreak DLC, the new update contains balance adjustments, new additions, and much more. As said, there are some interesting PC-specific (Steam) new additions to the game, including support for NVIDIA DLSS upscaling, a new “Classic” filter, the ability the adjust the position of the Ultra-wide menu, a new “Detailed Photo Mode” packing additional photo options, and support for Razer lighting effects.
We’ve included the full release notes for this new update down below. On the bottom, you'll find the PC-specific changes.
New features have been added to the camera (photoshoots), including the ability to make characters face the camera and to make Buddies face specific directions, poses/gestures for Buddies, and toggling the UI on and off.
Monster Hunter Rise is available now globally on the Switch. The new Sunbreak expansion releases tomorrow for both platforms.
