Established in 1978, UV+IR Engineering continues to adapt its products to customers’ special requirements offering numerous design, manufacture, install and commission options for various engineering solutions.

UV+IR Engineering’s host of turnkey solutions includes its mineral driers range, which includes vibrating feeding driers, conveyor driers, rotating drum driers, batch driers and modular IR lamp heads. Other products include, but are not limited to, vibrating feeders and screens, glove boxes, automation applications and control gear.

In addition to its product portfolio, the company can analyse the viability of an idea. The following study will then outline, in depth, the various scenarios examined and the implications, strengths and weaknesses of each.

“We provide support with individual advice, practice-oriented planning and prompt implementation of measures to optimise plants and processes,” the company says.

Once completed and approved, a finite element analysis is used to eliminate risk when designing equipment, which is done on three-dimensional drawings and electrical diagrams.

The tailormade equipment is then designed and manufactured in UV+IR Engineering’s 1 800 m² facility, in Johannesburg.

A dedicated spares department is also available to manage spares requirements for all equipment supplied to international clients, and maintenance staff are available for contract maintenance, shutdowns or breakdowns.

Over the past 41 years, the company has successfully installed equipment worldwide in such locations as India, Australia, Japan, Argentina, the US, Sweden, and the UK.
